In order to strengthen the environmental protection exchanges and cooperation between Shandong and South Korea, and jointly promote the prevention and control of air pollution, according to the work arrangement of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, on April 26, the technical briefing meeting for the demonstration project of the Luhan Air Pollution Prevention and Control Project was held in Jinan. Yao Yunhui, deputy director of the Provincial Environmental Protection Department, attended and spoke.

Yao Yunhui said that Shandong and South Korea are facing each other across the sea and have carried out fruitful cooperation in environmental protection for many years. In 2005, the Shandong Provincial People's Government and the Korean Ministry of the Environment jointly established the Luhan Environmental Cooperation Committee. Over the past decade, through this platform, the cooperation and exchange activities between the governments and environmental enterprises have been very active and have achieved fruitful results. At the same time, both sides have further deepened mutual understanding and mutual trust, and the pragmatic cooperation between the two sides has achieved remarkable results.

Yao Yunhui introduced that in recent years, under the guidance of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Shandong Province has maintained rapid economic growth while improving the environmental quality of the province. In 2017, the main air quality indicators of the province's atmospheric environmental quality have reached the value since 2013. In particular, PM2.5 exceeded the “Atmospheric Ten” assessment and the improvement target of the Shandong Air Pollution Control Plan.

Yao Yunhui pointed out that the characteristics of the provinces with high population density, large economic aggregates, relatively fast development, and heavy structure have determined that Shandong must continue to implement strict environmental management systems and enforce stricter environmental standards. Shandong's environmental protection industry has broad prospects and will always maintain its position as an industrial demand market. Shandong sincerely welcomes South Korean environmental protection companies to negotiate environmental cooperation, investment, and common development. He hoped that the enterprises of both Shandong and South Korea could use this exchange meeting as an opportunity to extensively introduce their respective technological advantages and cooperation needs, and hope that the two companies can find more cooperation points and achieve more cooperation results.

Huang Qirong, director of the Environmental Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea, said that he had never been to Shandong before, and that he was very happy for the very meaningful meeting today. The Chinese government has a firm determination to control the atmospheric environment. Shandong has followed the pace of the central government and achieved remarkable results in atmospheric environmental management. He introduced that the 12 Korean companies that came to the conference were carefully selected by the Korean government and brought about the prevention and control technology of air pollution in South Korea. They hope to play a good role in the atmospheric environment management in Shandong.

In the technical briefing session, Zhang Xiaotong from the Center for Environmental Protection and External Cooperation of the Ministry of Eco-Environment introduced the smart platform project to both Shandong and South Korea, using the “Internet +” technology to realize the docking between the supply and demand sides. At the meeting, 12 companies from the South Korean side introduced the new technologies for air pollution prevention and control. Subsequently, the enterprises of both Shandong and South Korea exchanged one pair according to their needs. It is reported that a number of enterprises have reached preliminary cooperation intentions at the briefing.

The technical briefing session of the Luhan Air Pollution Prevention and Control Demonstration Project was jointly sponsored by the Shandong Provincial Environmental Protection Department and the Korean Ministry of the Environment. It aims to build a new communication platform for both companies to promote mutual understanding and to achieve cooperation in new technologies for air pollution prevention and control. Twelve companies, including Korea's BLUE BIRD Environmental Co., Ltd., Jieyite Co., Ltd. and KC Cottrell Co., Ltd., are introducing technologies in the fields of air pollution control equipment, environmentally friendly materials, and odorous environmental treatment.

Representatives from the Environment Industry Technology Division of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea, the Korea Environmental Industry Technology Institute and the Korea Environmental Industry Association, the Science and Technology Department of the Provincial Environmental Protection Department, and the provincial environmental protection technology service center, etc., attended the technical briefing. More than 30 air pollution control companies from Jinan, Zibo, Weifang and other cities attended the conference.

Since its establishment, the company has been committed to the research and development of spray paint room, dust removal equipment, electrostatic powder spraying equipment,VOCs and relevant production work.
